The pen format
This is where SerenQ does things differently. Instead of a lyophilised powder that has to be reconstituted, TB500 arrives as a solution already loaded into a graduated injection pen with a dial and a dose window.
- 10mg of TB500 per pen, in solution and ready to use
- 1 unit = 50mcg. 10 units on the dial gives 500mcg
- 200 units in total , which works out at 20 full 500mcg draws per pen
- Dial and dose window let you set the exact amount and read it back before dispensing
- 4 screw on pen tips supplied, individually sealed, 32G 0.23 x 4mm
- Protective cap, clip and a rigid retail carton for storage and transport
- Batch number, expiry and serial printed directly on the pen barrel, not just the box
Handling and storage
- Store refrigerated at 2 to 8°C. Do not freeze
- Keep in the outer carton, away from direct light
- Short periods at room temperature during transit are expected and normal
- Use a fresh sealed tip for each dispense and dispose of tips in a sharps container
- Expiry 12/2027 on sealed, correctly stored stock
- Keep out of reach of children and animals
What is in the box
- 1 × SerenQ TB500 10mg pre-filled injection pen
- 4 × sealed pen tips, 32G 0.23 x 4mm
- Serialised, QR coded retail carton
Choosing between TB500, BPC-157 and the Heal pen
TB500 is not thymosin beta-4, it reproduces the short active region of that protein rather than the whole thing, which is what makes it stable and affordable enough to be practical. Its proposed mechanism is actin regulation: repair depends on the right cells arriving, and actin is what governs cell movement.
That is a genuinely different route from BPC-157 , whose research centres on gastrointestinal tissue and angiogenesis. Neither substitutes for the other, which is the whole reason the pairing exists.
TB500 is also the one usually described as acting systemically rather than locally, the usual justification for not injecting near the injury. Treat that as a reasonable proposition rather than a settled fact. If you intend to run both, the Heal pen holds them at a fixed ratio in one cartridge.
Guides that go deeper:
- TB500: a fragment, not thymosin beta-4
- BPC-157 and TB500: why they are run together
- Recovery peptides compared
